I was born and grew up in Co. Kilkenny, Ireland. I moved to London in 1988. In 1994 I moved to mid Wales where I am presently living and working.
I am primarily a stone carver but also use bronze, wood, clay, wax and other materials.
I also work as a letter-cutter in stone. Often I combine carving and lettering, particularly in commissioned work.
I studied at Winchester School of Art (Foundation) 1980-81
and Leeds College of Art (BA Fine Art) 1981-84.
I have shown regularly since graduating.
